Francisco Martínez Oronoz, PhD

With a Ph.D. in Education Policy and Leadership Studies and a Master’s in Public Affairs, Francisco has extensive experience in program coordination, data analysis, and strategic planning for private, public, and nonprofit organizations. Francisco has worked with organizations both nationally and internationally, focusing support on working with marginalized communities, building strong partnerships, and enhancing socially driven organizations and projects toward best supporting those they serve. Before founding Concéntrico, he served as a Partner at TNTP (formally known as The New Teacher Project), driving the development of educational services and managing client engagements throughout the Southeast United States and Puerto Rico. He specializes in advancing innovative solutions to cultural and social challenges and overseeing privately and publicly funded large-scale initiatives. He also served as Deputy Secretary of Federal Affairs for the Puerto Rico Department of Education, managing federal funds, disaster recovery grants, compliance, and budget oversight. His career highlights include working with orphaned youth in Mexico through socio-emotional support focused on mindfulness meditation practice and supporting nongovernmental organizations in Nicaragua in enhancing youth services through effective strategic planning. Currently, he also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras, teaching a graduate-level course: Creation and Analysis of Education Policies.
Nolo H. Martínez, PhD
Chief Development Officer
Dr. H. Nolo Martinez is a bilingual educator with over three decades of experience, helping bridge the gap between immigrants and established U.S. communities. Utilizing psychometric assessments, he values diverse cultures and leadership styles, transforming diversity into an asset for high performance. As the first Director for Hispanic/Latino Affairs at the North Carolina Governor's Office, he fostered Latino leadership and launched the North Carolina AgrAbility Project. Co-founding mano-y-ola LLC, a global minority and female-owned consulting firm, Nolo focuses on early childhood education, minority and immigrant farmer communities, and leadership development. With a doctorate in adult education, a master's in economics, and a bachelor's in agronomy, Nolo's educational background mirrors his diverse professional interests. Born in Puerto Rico, he now splits his time between New Orleans, Louisiana, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina, promoting inclusive communities.
Miguel Angel Ortiz Burgos
Senior Manager
With a background in law and a Master's in Public Administration, Miguel has experience in strategic planning, human resource management, and contract administration for mission-driven organizations. Before joining Concéntrico, he served as a Program Officer at ConPRmetidos Corp, completing program oversight and compliance for private, state, and federal grants. Miguel Angel focuses on providing comprehensive support to organizations in reaching their goals and expanding their impact. In addition to the nonprofit sector, Miguel has experience in the federal government, having served at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Florida District Office, and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. He worked not only on regulatory and policy matters but also supported essential groups like the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.
